Embassy Suites, Brier Creek

We'll be getting married at the Embassy Suites at Brier Creek, North Carolina, with its beautiful ballroom, terrace, and fountains - also making it easier for everyone that's flying in with a free shuttle service to and from the airport and the Brier Creek shops and restaurants.

Check out details of the hotel and their rooms, here. The address is 8001 Arco Corporate Dr, Raleigh, NC 27617.

We have blocked off a set of 20 suites for the nights of the 12th and 13th but can easily accommodate more or longer stays. When booking, just use this link or mention that you're part of the Bruyere - Lammertsma Wedding. Each suite has two rooms; a small living room with a kitchenette and a bedroom with a choice of two queen beds or one king, each priced at $184 per night. It includes everything from made-to-order breakfasts to an indoor pool and fitness center.

The cut-off date for this room-block and this price is September 9th, so book before then if you'd like to be sure you get one!

Hampton Inn & Suites

We also have rooms blocked for you right next door, at the Hampton Inn & Suites using this link, which may have smaller rooms available at a lower cost. It's literally a two-minute walk from door to door. There are two room-types available, with a king bed or two queens, costing $150 or $165, respectively.

Alternatives

About a ten-minute walk away is the Westin, although this seems to be a more expensive option. It is closer to the Brier Creek commons shopping area, though. We haven't blocked any rooms at this or other hotels, so book early if you choose other options!

The Dinner Menu

Dinner will be served at 6 PM and consists of the following:

Grilled Filet of Beef with Port Wine Sauce or Baked Filet of Atlantic Salmon with Lemon Dijon Sauce with a side of Risotto or Cauliflower Au Gratin.

The vegetarian dinner option is Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms and will be served individually to those who request a vegetarian meal in advance. The regular dinner options are nut, shellfish and gluten-free.

(Due to the difficulty of getting everyone else's preferences in advance, the regular dinner options will be served buffet-style, with tables being called sequentially.)

Saturday Breakfast

We would love to see everyone one last time before you leave! To that end, we hope you'll join us in gathering at the Embassy Suites one last time for breakfast on Saturday morning (Oct. 14th) at 8:30 AM. Breakfast is complimentary for Embassy Suites guests and $16 otherwise, with made-to-order omelets and a breakfast buffet.

The Theme and Attire

Just dress for a wedding! There's no need to go beyond just a nice formal suit or dress. Some of you, however, have expressed interest in trying to match our wedding colors, which are teal and copper/rust. We're also going with a bit of an autumn theme, with pumpkins among the customary flowers.

Our Registry

We're already thrilled if you're coming and we know that for many, especially our international friends and family, it's quite a trek. Please don't feel obligated to buy gifts, as your presence is the best gift of all.

However, our registry is available on Amazon. After running through Crate & Barrel, Bed, Bath and Beyond and more, Amazon just turned out to be the best option for us considering the wealth of choices available there.

Live Stream

While there will certainly be plenty of photos and video evidence of the great event, we would love for those of you who can't attend to be able to tune in digitally! On the day itself, you'll be able to stream the wedding through the link below:

Local Receptions

Since we know not everyone can make the trip to North Carolina, we're planning on throwing two little receptions later; one in Ogdensburg, New York and one in The Netherlands. These are planned to be little get-togethers with the friends and family who couldn't make it, so it won't include any kind of ceremony or much fanciness. We'll update this website as those plans become clear, as right now we're 100% focused on the wedding.
